Health Food
Why You Should Make The Switch by Jessica Harris
Healthy living is on the minds of many people desiring a better
quality of life. For some that are so busy with their lives, it seems they simply do not have enough time to
establish and maintain a healthy living system. For some, it may seem baffling when all that is really necessary to
have a healthy lifestyle is a simple routine of: A. Eating properly B. Drinking fresh water and C. Getting proper
exercise. We will get more into this as we go.
First, let's take a look at why you would want to "make the change" to "health
food". This will help you decide for yourself what is best to do and how you might go about establishing
your "healthy living" plan.
Foods which have been processed, such as boxed, manufactured, heat processed etc... provide
fewer nutrients to the living body which requires natural food just like your car requires fuel or any other
substance designed to operate it efficiently. Our bodies are similar when it comes to needing a good source of
energy! This means fresh nutrients from fresh foods such as vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds. Now if that doesn't
sound very exciting, well, I have some good news about that. We will get to that in just a moment. Right now your
body can by conditions that you may not even be aware of. Some examples are sluggishness, frequently feeling tired
and, in general, maybe you just don't feel well. Doesn't mean it's anything serious, but it is smart to look out
for your health in advance to prevent anything serious.
Illness and disease can strike anyone at any time. So what can we do about that? We can build up
our bodies and immune systems as well as help others do the same by educating, sharing useful resources and
venturing out into the wonderful new world of "health food". Here is a helpful list of good benefits to help you

Healthy food can be organic, frozen and especially good eaten fresh! Meats are ok to eat, if that's what you
choose. For some, meat can provide protein as with cheese, nuts and even avocados! The way you choose to
establish your healthy lifestyle is completely up to you. Venturing out into the land of variety is something
you and your whole family can do. Make it a fun experience, try out different foods, see what appeals to you
and your family's tastes. Knowing that in "health food" there is actually more variety than in junk food.
Spices are a great way to add additional flavor to your food. Consider growing your own! Herbs add wonderful
flavor as well as health benefits. From apples, oranges, bananas and beyond, check out the good stuff. Variety
is readily available!
